Masterchef India Season 7 (Sony TV) Contestants Names, Judges, Cast & more. Indian (Hindi) cooking competitive reality show MasterChef India, is set to come up with Season 7 soon. It is based on the Australian show MasterChef Australia, which itself is based on British MasterChef.
MasterChef India premiered its first season in December 2010 and broke all records in viewership. The show became so popular that the makers came up with the second season in October 2011, the third season in 2013, the fourth season in April 2015, the fifth in December 2016, and the sixth one in December 2019.
The show was originally started in Hindi language and later extended to 2 more Indian languages- Telugu and Tamil. Also, in 2013, Junior MasterChef Swaad Ke Ustaad was also launched and it was a Hindi show.
The winners of all the previous seasons (1- 6) are Pankaj Bhadouria Shipra Khanna, Ripudaman Handa, Nikita Gandhi, Kirti Bhoutika, and Abinas Nayak, respectively.
27-year-old Abhinas Nayak, who hails from Odisha, wins MasterChef India 6 and took home a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. With MasterChef India Season 7, the show is all set to return after a period of three long years.
